Indic Face

This Parsi woman from Calcutta is an excellent example of the Indic branch of the Caucasoid race. The Indic race is similar to the Mediterranean race in most features, except for the usually straighter, coarser hair, and darker pigmentation. The large “Indian eyes” are an important physiognomic trait of the Indic race.

The racial similarity with the Mediterranean race is probably due to three factors: (a) that the Mediterranean race, and the Indic race are descended from a common branch of Homo Sapiens, (b) convergent evolution, especially in the Holocene, (c) the migration of the Neolithic people (and later Proto-Dravidians?) into India from the Near East.

There are two totally different racial types in India and Sri Lanka. One northern white indid race and one southern black dravid (or indo-melanid) race.

The White Type came from the north with the
Indo-European languages. Therefore, the black
type are often represented by Dravidic languages
(tamil, telugu etc) in southern India and northern Sri Lanka, Which is a totally different languages family.

The white type is by far the most usual among indian immigrants in the western world and could be seen working in indian restaurants and make good tandoori and tikka masala, which is very sumptuous food in northern India.
Guess which type who wins the Miss India Contest.

The "anthropoligist" says: There are two totally different racial types in India and Sri Lanka. One northern white indid race and one southern black dravid (or indo-melanid) race.

I SAY: "[deleted] There is no "white" race in India nor is there a "black" race. [deleted]
The Indian race shows strong homogenuity--which means that they are all descended from the same stock. Skink colour varies from light brown (NOT white, [deleted]) to dark brown and almost black. More people in northern India have this lighter SHADE than the people in the South. This means nothing. There are people in southern India who are very light skinned. Just as they are some Greeks and Italians who are darker than the average. [deleted]

The Indic race is ONE genetically. And they are all Caucasoid--not WHITE! If you had been a real anthropologist, you would know that Caucasoid does not mean white. That phenotype is unique to European Caucasoids, not the Asian ones. [deleted]
