First, I did not know that the faces included computer-morphed "hybrids" created by Dienekes. (I had assumed he'd simply found models he wanted.)

Second, I warn people that (correct me if I'm wrong) if one looks at the poll results, or if one posts a comment on the poll, before actually voting in the poll, it won't let you proceed to vote. For both polls I was told, "Sorry, you've already voted," when I clicked on the button to vote, although I hadn't voted yet, but had in one case posted a comment, and in the other, looked first at the poll results, before attempting to vote.

Had that glitch not occurred and I been permitted to vote, I'd have voted for the choice in both polls that ended up winning. In the second poll it would've been close, though -- I had a hard time deciding between the girl who won and the one Jason expected to win -- number 4, I think it was. (I finally chose number one.)

That's not possible, I think, since pollhost.com can't possibly note who is commenting on the poll on dienekes.com.

In my 28 years on earth I've never seen any 'Mongoloids' with such goddamned small eyes whether among my relatives or friends. Which freak show did you get that picture from?

i prefer euros (northern euros) myself, but i have to agree with jason-that asian chick was pretty fucking weird looking compared to the med or half-breeds....

The Mongoloid example was very paedomorphic, very symmetrical and a very clear example of her race. There are of course all kinds of Mongoloid people, some of whom have more open eyes, some of whom have more closed eyes. The particular example was not a bad one for the Mongoloid race, IMO.

I have a strong preference for East Asian women, but not the particular CARICATURE that you selected as an example. The poll is meaningless.

FWIW, My Korean friend from work said the model had a "classic Japanese face". Personally I don't think she was "freaky" at all, but she also wasn't hot in the hollywood sense that asian chix like lucy liu are. The white model OTOH was.

If you ever find the time I think you should redo the poll, but I think you should make racial averages instead for the black, white, and asian chick, like you did for the greek guy. As usual it would tell us more about your readers' tastes than underlying human preferences or even universal trends, but it would still make the conclusion more interesting by helping to level out some of the possible sampling bias.

Is there any data bank on the map with anthropometric correct photographed individuals of some races?
Especially modern pictures?

I agree very much with Jason on this. This averaging thing, properly and intelligently applied, would seem to have great potential -- as yet untapped, apparently.

You have a preference for East Asian women of a certain kind then. You can't say that a young pretty East Asian model was a "caricature".

Well, if anyone is interested in doing a poll with the hottest women of every race, I will be more than willing to nominate quite a few examples of Greek women. As it is, I think I presented the best examples that I could find that were also posing in a way that could be morphed.

Have you ever met any Asians? I have not met one, not one Asian person with those freaky small eyes. No doubt my sample is skewed towards Southern Chinese but I have also known people from Japan and China. Not one- that picture is a freak, not representative

I have met many Asians, and the girl in question is not infrequent in Mongoloid countries. I would not call her eyes "freaky" just because they are of extreme Mongoloid type. She looks quite pretty to me, even though I generally don't find Mongoloid women to be very attractive.

Anyway, perhaps a further experiment is in order, comparing the most attractive examples of the major races. I am open to suggestions as to which woman exemplifies Mongoloid beauty in your opinion and perhaps I'll make such a poll.

Following Dienekes' lead, I am going to start using the term Mongoloid where appropriate in discussions of race and ethnicity, the term "Eastern Asian" being incorrect and inappropriate from various points of view.

I went to school with alot of wealthy greeks and I have to honestly say that greeks although have a few good looking people, have many people so damned ugly the world needs a whole new definition for ugly known as "greek ugly". I remember in grade school this greek chick named sonya was so fugly no one would play with her. She used to run around chasing guys trying to kiss them in hopes of receiving any kind of attention. Look at the onasis family what a bunch of ugly fuglies..typical of greek people.
