Beauty is not just a female trait. On the contrary I find girls quite boring to look at. Especially models and actresses with too much make-up up. Also, isn't it harder to judge aesthetics when attraction and sexuality are involved? It's easier to look at a guy with cold detached objetivity, and of course its more interesting to check out the competition...

A little more than half have been picked. So far it looks like blonde and lighter hair/ darker hair women are split anout 50/50. But with more northern europeans than southern european skin complexions. One surprising finding is that there are more black women (all mixed though) than east-asian women. If you would take pictures of ordinary people of pure race it would be something different.
And mixed Negroids seem to be sometime more than just average of the parents.
They loose sometimes the most less attractive features of Negroids but get a (in modern times) fashionable shiny gold-brown skin and less hard facial features as some Caucasoids got.

But compare typical Caucasoid, Negroid and Mongoloid non celebrities without false hair, silicon implantants or make up and it will be something different.

You are still silly people. Beauty is subjective, pretty isn't. People mistake the two concepts but they are not the same.

Beauty is what you are exposed to from birth!!! Look at all the magazines today! If a person is constantly bombarded by images of a certain archetype, of course he's going to have an attraction for that archetype.

It's the concept of averages. Mix a whole lot of faces together, and you come with an average which is regarded as more beautiful than the faces which went into the mix. Of course, it all depends on the original type of faces.

With all these conversations going on about beauty in different races, have any of you dolts factored that IN ???? The human mind is a powerful thing, the unconscious is really powerful and its power is that it's invisible therefore unconscious.

All of you are using YOUR beliefs, feelings and using that as a mathematical constant and fact and doing these silly racial comparisons, without taking into account that they are yours and yours only. You are using personal opinions as an unchangeable yardstick!!

I'm female, for example I detest Ben Affleck, he sends shivers down my spine, I don't consider him beautiful (subjective, what I find attractive) but I can say he's pretty (objective, just mere aesthetics) as opposed to Jack Nicholson. (What I call the lesser of two evils) But for some, Ben Affleck is the epitome of male beauty (yes, yes, beauty is generally used for women, men don't like to be called pretty, I'm not using the words in the normal sense)

Another example is what some European explorers wrote about the Japanese when they first saw them and conversely what the Japanese wrote when they first saw the Europeans. None of these descriptions were flattering to say the least.

They each thought the other was ugly and firmly believed it. They had never seen each other before and weren't used to such faces from birth. (An interesting technique that in some situations is called brainwashing).

But... but.. if they had had to choose between the prettiest one of each race, they would have been able to pick that pretty person out. They might say they were ugly but they could still say that person is prettier than that person, who is prettier than that person etc.

And the results would have been the same for Europeans and Japanese picking out Japanese beauties. The Europeans might not like the beauties because that's not what they were used to (like being bludgeoned with the idea since 2 months that blonde is beautiful, blonde is beautiful, blonde is beautiful, blonde is beautiful, blonde is beautiful.........) but they would know who was the prettier one.

Pretty is what is objective, not beauty.

It must be the language that is limiting. People talk about different things and use the same word.
So, in a hypothetical example. Let's say, a Caucasian male was abandoned as a baby and raised with Siberian Inuit all his life, and never or rarely saw another Caucasian, he would probably think Caucasians were quite ugly people, and probably have an ugly complex as he didn't look like the other humans around him.

This example can be extended towards any group of humans living as powerless (or less powerful) minorities with a different group of humans who are a majority.
