Some Census FactFinder Statistics
The American Fact Finder is a pretty nice tool. Here are some statistics on average household size which explain the differences in per capita and household income I've blogged about earlier.

Your research on household well illustrated the discrepancy between household income and per cap income like I suggested earlier.
I got feeling the same rule might apply again within Asian community. It is likely that Korean and Chinese have larger family size than Japanese. Not sure about Asian indian though.
