The correlation between GDP per capita and IQ is +0.92.
Steve Sailer has done some digging and it seems like this table is fake.
Posted by Dienekes at May 3, 2004 10:05 PM | PermaLinkDoes anyone know the source of those iq's?
Those numbers smell fishy. Utah with 87? Connecticut with 113?
Posted by: tc at May 4, 2004 10:01 AMYep, it's hard to tell whether or not the IQ figures are good, because there is no complete reference to their source.
Posted by: Dienekes at May 4, 2004 11:37 AMThis is so damn funny!!! Though authenticity of these data is in question, concentration of Ivy leageu schools in New England would make sense about possilbe higher IQ in those regions. We all know North and North-East parts of America are strong basis for left-wing or liberal political basis.
